16 ept Apprentices begin their Careers

A total of €4700 was distributed among those with the best results

ept is celebrating yet another successful year of apprenticeships. 16 apprentices from the Peiting and Buching plants commemorated the completion of their training with a dinner together in Prem on Thursday, 19 July 2018. Ten toolmakers, two industrial clerks, three storage logistics specialists, and a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology received their certificate of completion from HR Manager Joachim Ruber. A total of €4700 was distributed among the apprentices who delivered the strongest performances. Apprentices who attained the highest overall grade (‘1’) received particularly large rewards.

“This class delivered exceptionally strong performances,” trainer Heide Ramminger happily reports, remaking on the apprentices’ fantastic grades on the CCI final exam. Four of the 16 apprentices received an outstanding ‘1’ as their overall grade, and eight received the result ‘good.’ The two industrial clerks, Celina Brenzing and Carolina Schwarz, were especially happy with the special awards they received on Tuesday: special honors from their vocational school as well as a certificate of honor from the Bavarian government. Theodoros Tsioralis, now a trained process mechanic, celebrated the state award he received on 20 July for his excellent overall grade of ‘1.2.’ And the five toolmakers, Florian Berchtold, Laurin Schmid, Michael Standl, Johannes Walser, and Simon Schwarz, received honors from their vocational school for their outstanding achievements.

Joachim Ruber is proud of the apprentices’ performances: “My highest compliments and praise go out to each of our graduates. The excellent results and the fact that each toolmaker was able to complete their training ahead of time, for example, demonstrate how motivated and committed our apprentices are. That 14 of our ept apprentices will begin their careers at ept is as wonderful as it is necessary; with our current growth, the need for these specialists is great, and we are able to offer them the best chances possible to advance their careers.”
