ept apprentices honored for excellent performance
The CCI celebrates this year’s apprentices
At this year’s graduation ceremony for apprentices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), ept graduates celebrated the successful completion of their vocational training. Two of the participants were presented with a special award for academic excellence. Roman Neuner completed his apprenticeship with a grade point average of 1.3 and Marco Rohrseitz achieved a grade point average of 1.4, both excellent marks in the German academic system. Both are now trained toolmakers, and each has accepted a permanent position at ept.
But the other apprentices had plenty to celebrate as well. The ‘Capella landspergiana’ provided the musical accompaniment for the evening, which featured addresses by the head of the CCI office in Weilheim, Klaus Hofbauer, and deputy district administrator of Landsberg, Peter Ditsch. During the speech, the Chair of the CCI Committee Landsberg - Weilheim - Schongau congratulated the apprentices on their success before handing the microphone over to Simon Schmitt, who proceeded to deliver an inimitable comic performance of Grimm’s fairy tales.
The ept apprentices celebrated their final evening together over food and drink before they head their separate ways – some to other training institutes and others to begin their new careers at ept.
